Erosion hit people of Hailakandi appeals to Hailakandi DC

Many people of South Hailakandi district have been affected by Continuous soil erosions at the banks of Dhaleswari river. Near about 200 Bighas of land have been washed away by Dhaleswari since 2005. But unfortunately the administration has not taken any step till now and is on a silent mode. Erosions are continuously going on near Killarbak under jhallachara GP. The affected and landless people of that area appealed to the Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi, Adil Khan and legislator of Katlichara, Sujam Uddin Laskar to take appropriate steps to control the erosion and provide Government aid for the affected people.
