Fire breaks out at business establishment near New Tinsukia Railway Station in Hijuguri

A major fire broke out at a business establishment near New Tinsukia Railway Station on Wednesday.

As per initial reports, the fire broke out at an establishment namely SS Furniture at Hijuguri in Tinsukia town. The proprietor of the business establishment was identified as Sanjeev Kumar Agarwala.

The fire continued for several hours destroying assets worth Rs 6 to 7 lakhs before it could be doused by the fire tenders.

Preliminary enquiry revealed that the fire broke out due to short circuit.
