Historic Bodo Agreement Signed, Watch ABSU celebrating the moment in Kokrajhar

State Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma's reaction after Government of India signed an accord with all factions of banned Assam-based rebel group National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) this afternoon.

As per the Memorandum of Settlement, Specials steps to be taken by Government of Assam to create a separate Department to deal with matters relating to Councils under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution including BTC.

It may be mentioned that Government of India and Government of Assam have been making concerted efforts to fulfill the political, economic, social, cultural and identity related aspirations of Bodo People.

On the other hand, All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) members were celebrating the moment with much fun and fervour at ABSU office in Kokrajhar by welcoming the Bodo Agreement.
