Kokrajhar Golden langur census begins in BTC forest

The Forest Department carried out the Survey of Golden Langur in BTC forest and Golden langur census Estimation and Habitat Evaluation from today onwards.

The golden langur counting census has been started from 18th and will continue upto the 24th of March 2020.

The survey has been organized by the BTC forest Primate Research centre NE India.

R.N Boro, Deputy Director, Manas Tiger Reserve flagged off the program in presence of N.K Dey warden, and Dr Jihosuo Biswas.
