Major Explosion inside ammonia-urea factory of BVFCL in Namrup, No Casualties Reported

In a shocking incident, a major explosion ripped through a Synthetic Gas Compressor inside ammonia-urea factory in the Namrup-2 unit of the Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) on Sunday mid-night at around 12.45 am.

No casualties were reported during the incident.

It is to be noted that a similar kind of incident was reported from Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) earlier on May 19, 2019.
