Man injured in elephant attack, Residential Quarters destroyed in Digboi

A man sustained grievous injuries as an elephant attack him near Panibari area of Digboi on Thursday.

The injured person was rushed to Digboi Civil Hospital under critical condition; however, he was later referred to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh for better medication.

The injured person identified as Ajit Murmu.

On the other hand, a herd of elephants had destroyed residential quarters at Shantipara in Digboi.
