NHM Director, Assam, Dr Lakshmanan S on "How to prepare yourself amidst the Coronavirus Outbreak"

Mission Director, National Health Mission, Assam, Dr Lakshmanan S on Friday informed to The Sentinel Digital that so far no positive cases of novel coronavirus have been reported from the state of Assam.

He also mentioned that the National Health Mission, Directorate of Health Services and Directorate of Medical Education under the Health Department for Government of Assam are being jointly taking necessary preventive measures amid the coronavirus outbreak.

He also appealed for the public cooperation during this outbreak. "Self-awareness is very important during this outbreak, therefore everyone should educate themselves about the disease and its primary forms of transmission," said Dr Lakshmanan S.
