Operation against city buses in Guwahati helped in reducing traffic congestion

Traffic congestion due to violation of traffic rules by city buses in the Guwahati city has come down drastically after action taken by the Assam Transport Department, said DTO officer Bapon Kalita to The Sentinel Digital on Monday.

Kalita also informed that almost 80 city buses have been seized so far, out of which permits of 50 city buses have been suspended for violating the traffic law.
