Rishabh Pant was present at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, cheering for his team, Delhi Capitals (DC) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match against Gujarat Titans on Tuesday.
Pant was seen sitting in the stands along with Jay Shah, the honourary secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Later, the southpaw also took time out and visited the Titans’ dressing room. Shubman Gill didn’t forget to click a picture with his Indian teammate.
The official Twitter handle of the Titans captioned the picture and wrote, “A special guest in our dressing room!”
Pant isn’t a part of the DC squad as he is still recovering from the multiple injuries that he sustained in a gruesome car accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.
However, Ricky Ponting, the head coach of the Capitals, talked about making Pant a part of the team’s setup in some way or another. On Tuesday, DC played their first home match and the left-handed Pant didn’t miss out on watching his team play.
