Six Amri Karbi organizations staged protest near Raj Bhawan, Guwahati

Six Amri Karbi organizations stage sit in demonstrations near Raj Bhawan in Guwahati demanding a separate autonomous district under sixth schedule of the Constitution of India.

During their protest, the members of Amri Karbi Communities demanded scrapping of the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.

The members of the community also chanted anti-BJP slogans.
