South Salmara Police launched operation against Cattle Smugglers, One killed in Encounter

In a major successful operation, one cattle smuggler was killed in an encounter by South Salmara Police in Mahamaya area of Dhubri District near Indo-Bangladesh Border.

The deceased person was identified as Nuruzamal Sheikh.

The other three accomplices of Nuruzamal Sheikh identified as Pahchan Ali, Alam Ali and Dulal Sheikh received severe injuries and were sent to Dhubri Civil Hospital for better medication.

Further investigation is on.
