Students in South Salmara-Mankachar deprived of mid-day meal

At a time when the Midday meal workers are staging widespread protest against the Government for handing over the cooking and distribution of the meals to NGOs in the state, an NGO namely 'Carrier Education Society' totally failed to distribute its mid-day meal among the students under South Salmara Mankachar Education Block.

Out of 50 thousand students at least 304 schools in the area, maximum of the school students was deprived of the mid-day meal.
