Three Women arrested with fake Indian Currency worth Rs 1.70 lakh in Goalpara

Based on specific information, Krishnai Police in Goalpara District seized fake Indian currency notes with a face value of Rs 1.70 lakh in Rs 200 denominations and arrested three women in connection to the matter.

The operation was led under the supervision of office in charge of Krishnai Police Station.

As per police, the gang was intercepted by the police and was arrested near Assam Meghalaya Border.

All the arrested women were reported to be the residents of Nishan village in Dudhnoi under Goalpara District, informed Police.
