Tribute to Tarun Gogoi: Inconsolable Assam's public

People from far flung areas have made a beeline to get one last glimpse of their beloved leader. Constant flow of well wishers and supporters has been seen since yesterday. Many of them have never met him but has been touched by his policies and the manner in which he ruled the state for 15 long years. The three-time Chief Minister of Assam, late Tarun Gogoi is credited to have brought back peace to a militancy-hit state and got the state back on the path of development and progress. Many of the visitors were seen sobbing and breaking down as they saw the leader lie in a box. People in thousands are visiting Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra to pay their last respect to the departed leader.
