Unidentified Gunman opens fire at SIS Prosegur Service personnel in Doomdooma

A security personnel of SIS Prosegur Service died after being shot by an unidentified gunman near State Bank of India ATM centre at Rupai siding in Doomdooma on Wednesday afternoon. He was gunned down later by security personnel in the cross- firing.

As per reports, out of the five gang members, one of them opened fired at the security personnel of SIS Prosegur Service in an attempt to loot the van; however, their attempt was foiled.

The security personnel identified as Chimu Buragohain (47) is a resident of Sadia's Patti Pathar Village.

The identity of the miscreant is yet not been ascertained.

On the other hand, the other gang members managed to escape from the spot.

They came in motorcycles, informed one of the security personnel.
