Big wins for New Star, Yogayog Sangha in APCC

GUWAHATI1: New Star Club thrashed ASEBSC by huge margin of 103 runs in the 3rd Assam Premier Club Championship meet at the Judges Field here today. Rahul Gupta and Aashrey Jain of winning team came out with solid performance in the game. Rahul scored exactly 100 (70,4X9, 6X4) while Aashrey Jain contributed 82 runs with the help of 10 boundaries and one six.

At SilcharJoydeep Singh (102,117 balls, 4X7) of Yogayoog Sangha also scored century today. The competition witnessed another century on Monday at Hojai where ShyamGoswami of PragatiSangha scored 100 (88, 4X13 6X2).

Venue: Biswanath- Biswanath Cricket club 205 (37.2 overs), Hojorat Ali Shekh 89, IshanPratim 6-39, BCT 129 (32.2 overs), IshanPratim 29, Pradeep Sharma 5-40. Result: Biswanath Cricket club won by 76 runs.

Venue: Barpeta-Club Rhino 208/8 (35 overs), Pritam Das 96, PradyutGayan 3-29, Triranga, Cricket Coaching Centre 211/4 (32.4 overs), Abul Hassan 82. Result: Triranga Cricket Coaching Centre won by 6 wickets.

Venue: Hojai-PragatiSangha 278 (39.2 overs), ShyamGoswami 100, VinodSah 3-45, SS Cricket Club 149 (23 overs), Nehwaz 74, Moon Choudhary 4-31.Result: PragatiSangha won by 129 runs.
