BUENOS AIRES: Carlos Tevez scored one goal and set up another as Boca Juniors secured a 2-1 home win over Defensa y Justicia in Argentina's Primera Division on Saturday. Walter Bou put the visitors ahead in the eighth minute by beating the offside trap with a first-time finish after Carlos Rotondi's cross from the left wing.
Tevez equalized shortly after when he poked in after a scramble inside the six-yard box.
The result lifts Boca to third in the 13-team Primera Division Group B standings with three wins, four draws and one loss, three points behind leaders Lanus. Defensa y Justicia dropped to sixth, two points behind Boca.
