Chelsea Set To Appoint Graham Potter As New Manager

LONDON: Chelsea is set to name Graham Potter as its next manager, British media reported on Thursday. He will join the club from Brighton and Hove Albion after Thomas Tuchel was relieved of his duties at Stamford Bridge on September 7, 2022.

As per British media, Potter will join the Blues before its trip to Fulham on Saturday.

Potter joined Brighton three years ago from Swansea City and has secured a win on his Premier League debut, winning 2-0 against Watford. With 41 points, the club finished with its highest ever points tally in the Premier League.

Last season, he broke that record with 51 points as Brighton beat Manchester United 4-0 at home, ending the Champions League hopes of the Red Devils. Agencies
