GUWAHATI: Guwahati is all set to host two matches of the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) which will kick off on March 31. Rajasthan Royals, that made ACA Stadium, Barsapara, as home ground for their two matches, will face Punjab Kings here on April 5. It will be followed by another match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals on April 8. Meanwhile Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today reviewed the arrangements for the forthcoming IPL matches. Chairing a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister directed the stakeholders to make foolproof arrangements so that players and crowd didn’t face any trouble during the matches. Apart from the Chief Minister, the meeting was also attended by the office- bearers of the Assam Cricket Association, top officials of the Assam Police, District Administration, Sports and Youth Welfare Department and from other stakeholders.
