Digaru Lift Women T20 Challengers Title

Guwahati: Digaru Viranganas lifted the first ACA Women T20 Challengers Trophy defeating Dhansiri Dashers by 20 runs in the final held at the Amingaon ground here today. Elected to bat, Digaru scored 81-8 in 20 overs. Debashree Konwar (21) was the top scorer and Ruhina Pegu picked up 4-15.

In reply, Dhansiri were bowled out 61 in 18.1 overs. Monikha Das, the player of the final, bagged two wickets. She also collected the player of the tournament award. Ruhina Pegu and Uma Chetry were adjudged best bowler and best batter award. Anamika Bori received the most promising player of the meet.
