NEW DELHI: The first of the 3 match T20 International series scheduled on Wednesday 16 February is between India and West Indies.

Both teams is set to complete each other in the match to be played at the Eden Garder Stadium in Kolkata.

Rohit Sharma is the Captain of the India team and KL Rahul is the Vice-captain while Rishabh Pant will be playing as the wicket-keeper.

Other members of the India Squad for the T20 series include Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Venkatesh Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Avesh Khan, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel and Mohd. Siraj.

The captain for the West Indies team will be Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran will be the vice-captain in the T20 match against India.

Other members of the West Indies squad for T20I include Roston Chase, Fabian Allen, Sheldon Cottrell, Darren Bravo, Romario Shepherd, Shai Hope, Dominic Drakes, Jason Holder, Rovman Powell, Akeal Hosein, Brandon King, Odean Smith, Hayden Walsh Jr and Kyle Mayers.

India team led by Rohit Sharma seems to enter the match with much confidence after its success in the 3 match One Day International as the team has defeated West Indies scoring 3-0.

Meanwhile, Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma who is the captain of the team wins the toss and chooses to bowl first against West Indies. West Indies team appears to give a tough competition after their complete failure in the ODI series.

The tournament of the first match India Vs West Indies is organized to be held in Kolkata city on Wednesday 16 February. The match will be starting on Wednesday evening at 07:30 pm as per the Indian standard timing.
