IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings to arrive on Monday in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Both the teams, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings which will face each other in an IPL match in Guwahati, will arrive in the city on Monday. The match will be held at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara on April 5.

Rajasthan Royals will use ACA Stadium, Barsapara as their home ground for their second and third games of the competition. In the first match in Guwahati, Rajasthan Royals will face Punjab Kings and in the next game on April 8 they will play against Delhi Capitals.

It will be the first occasion when Guwahati will host an IPL matches. Earlier also Rajasthan Royals planned to play a few of their home matches in Guwahati but the plan was not materialized due to COVID-19.

Keeping in mind the game Rajasthan Royals is giving ACA Stadium, Barsapara a new look. The hoarding of their team members was already placed at the various places in the stadium and different places in the city. They also decided to sale tickets of the match offline and already opened two counters in the city. One is functioning at the RG Baruah Sports Complex and the other one at Fancy Bazar.
