Darrang Karate Do Championship Held At Mangaldai MSA Stadium

MANGALDAI: A total of 340 budding talents in martial arts displaying their talent and skill appeared in the battle of supremacy in different categories of the 2nd Darrang District Karate Do Championship 2022 at MSA Stadium on Sunday. In the daylong championship organized by Darrang District Karate Do Association, a total of 84 competitors with their excellent performances won the medals and certificates. Earlier President of the Association and President of Mangaldai Sports Association Guru Jyoti Das in presence of the office bearers, participants and guardians inaugurated the Championship.

In the prize distribution function anchored by Debabrata Dutta, former legislator Guru Jyoti Das, Superintendent of Police Prasanta Saikia, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vivek Shyam Pangyok, Secretary of All Assam Karate Do Association Adarsha Choudhury, octogenarian sportsman Biren Medhi, journalist Bhargab Kumar Das offered the medals and certificates to the winning participants.
