AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey assures help to revive Bordoloi Trophy

GUWAHATI: The president of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Kalyan Chaubey today advised the local organizer to work unitedly to revive the Bordoloi Trophy football championship. He also assured all possible help from AIFF in this regard.

Chaubey was in the city to witness the final match of the 69th Bordoloi Trophy Football Championship. Addressing the gathering during the lemon break of the final the AIFF president said, “Earlier I came to this stadium in 1995 to play in the same competition. That time there was a good crowd in the gallery but the scenario is not the same now. However I believe the lost glory of the meet can be revived if local organizers work together with some plans. I assure all possible helps from the AIFF.”
