Semifinalists in group 'C' to be decided through draw today

Guwahati: OILFC lost their last League match to CISF 1-2 in group 'C' of the 68th Bordoloi Trophy Football Championship held at Ghilakuri at Sipajhar today. The result made the group very interesting as after the end of the last league match both CISF and Nagaland Police are not only at the same spot in the points table but also in goal difference. So the semi finalists from this group will be decided by a draw and it will be held at the Gauhati Sports Association office in the city tomorrow. Rajdeep Singh and Md Rasheed scored for CISF while Milan Basumatary reduced one for OIL. Meanwhile in a group 'B' match at Korora, 10 men Delhi FC defeated Daimalu Club 1-0 to book a berth in the semi final. Krishna Pandit scored the lone goal of the match. At Toikajhora in Chirang Shillong Lajong FC played 2-2 draw against NEUFC. Dipu Mirdha and Pragyan Gogoi scored for NEUFC while Tremki Lamurohg and Gladdyn Kharbulli were the scorers for Lajong FC.

Meanwhile both the semi finals of the tournament will be held at the Nehru stadium on Friday. The kick off time is 2-30 PM.
