Former Corinthians boss Tiago Nunes takes charge of Gremio

RIO DE JANEIRO: Former Corinthians boss Tiago Nunes has been appointed head coach of Gremio on a two-year deal, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Wednesday. The 41-year-old replaces Renato Portaluppi, who left by mutual consent last week after the team's failure to qualify for the Copa Libertadores group stage.

"The coach should arrive in Porto Alegre on Thursday .... [ahead] of his official presentation on Friday," read a statement on Gremio's official website. Agencies
