JK Baruah Cricket Begins At Nehru Stadium

GUWAHATI: Naharkatia scored 105-8 in their first innings at stumps on day I in JK Baruah Cricket which got under way at the Nehru Stadium here today. While Sujit Yadav remained not out on 35, Isha Khan picked up 5-38.

In the other game at Amingaon Cricket Ground Nagaon, in reply to Nalbari's first innings 148, were 99-4 in their first innings at stumps. Gopal Krishna Ghosh and Rituraj Baruah picked up four and three wickets respectively for Nagaon, Bishal Sarma (36) and Mriganka Kashyap (26) were the major contributors with the bat for Nalbari. On the other hand Abhoy Das (31) and Nabajyoti Saikia (30) scored most of the runs for Nagaon.
