Kabaddi: Indian men beat Japan

HANGZHOU: The Indian men's kabaddi team won 56-30 against Japan, affirming the top spot in Group A with four wins in four matches at the Asian Games. India inflicted five all-outs while the Japanese raiders relied heavily on bonus points, collecting 16. Japan, meanwhile, were not able to wipe out the Indian team on a single occasion in the match.

The seven-time champions India will go up against Pakistan, who finished second in Group B, in the semi-finals tomorrow at 12:30 PM IST. While the semi-final winners will make the gold medal match, the losing teams will bag bronze medals. Agencies
