2Nd All India Brahmaputra Junior and Senior Squash meet begins in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: 2Nd All India Brahmaputra Junior and Senior Squash Championship got underway at the RG Baruah Sports complex here today. The tournament was inaugurated by GDD and Law & Justice Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya in presence of the MLA and president of the Assam Squash Rackets Association Shiladitya Dev. Around 50 players are participating in the three-day championship. The Assam Squash Rackets Association also felicitated Sujal Pathak in the inaugural function who performed creditably in U-15 boys national level meet held recently in Delhi. Among other present in the inaugural function were Working President of the Assam Squash Rackets Association Anup Choudhury and the president of the Sports Journalists Federation of India Subodh Malla Barua.
