3 Major Upsets in OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis

GUWAHATI: In a major upset in OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis the 2nd seed in the girls U-14 Ananya Bhatia of Gujarat bowed out from the competition losing her tie to unseeded Ira Shrenik Shah of MaharashtraIra. Ira won the three-setter 1-6, 6-3, 6-3. The competition witnessed two more upset today. 5th seed Tamoghna Das of West Bengal and 7th seed Dhanush Andhugulapati of Karnataka were shown the door by Anoop Keshavamurthy of Karnataka and Shanker Heishnam of Manipur respectively.
