3rd Khelo India Youth Games mascot taken around in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The mascot of the 3rd Khelo India Youth Games was taken around the city today. The people of the host city got a chance to familiarize themselves with the mascot of the tournament. The event was organized as part of publicity campaign of the Games which will be held in Guwahati from January 10. There will be altogether 20 events in the competition. Meanwhile organizing committee has planned a spectacular opening ceremony of the game which will be held at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium on January 10. A couple of celebrities from Bollywood will participate in the inaugural function where diverse culture of Assam will also be showcased.
