4 State weightlifters selected in Indian team for forthcoming Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship

GUWAHATI: Four weightlifters from Assam selected in the Indian squad which will participate in the forthcoming Youth, Junior and Senior Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship.

The competition will be held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh from July 11. Among the four weightlifters, Popy Hazarika will participate in the Senior Women 59 kg category, While Sidhant Gogoi is selected in 61kg for the Junior category, Bedabrata Bharali and Kapil Sonowal will take part in the Youth 67kg and Youth 102 kg Category.
