GUWAHATI: North East Zone Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Accountant General (A&E), Assam, concluded in the city today. Partha Pegu, the Joint Director of Sports and Youth Welfare, attended the closing function as chief guest and also distributed the prizes.

Final Results: Men’s singles: Saidul Alam Ahamed (Assam) beat Manas Ghosh (Assam)

11-6,11-6,11-3,11-8. Women Singles: Maumita Saha (Mizoram) beat Jaspreet Kaur (AG Mizoram) 13-11, 8-11,7-11,11-9,9-11,11-9,11-5.

Veteran +40 Singles: Dharmendra Singh (Manipur) beat Kezhaletuo Angami (Nagaland) 11-1,11-8,11-2. Veteran +50: Chanchal Choudhuri (Tripura) beat Anand Kausal (Meghalaya) 11-5,11-8,11-8.
