AITA Championship: Parthiv, Arnavi win singles titles

GUWAHATI: Parthiv Kalita & Arnavi Debnath of Assam clinched the Boys & Girls under 16 years singles titles in the AITA C7 2023, being hosted by India Club. Parthiv grabbed double crown in the championship. In the closing function India Club General Secretary Diganta Thakur, President Bimal Bharali, AATA Secretary Ankush Dutta and family members of late Surendra Nath Das gave away the trophies.

The results: Boys U-16 years Singles: Final- 2nd seed Parthiv Kalita bt 1st seed Riyan Kashyap 5-7, 6-0, 6-2.

Girls U-16 years Singles: Final- 4th seed Arnavi Debnath bt 2nd seed Bishnupriya Borgohain 6-4, 6-4.
