GUWAHATI: Assam bagged 19 medals including 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 15 Bronze in the 20th Junior National (Boys and Girls) Wushu Championship held at Phagwara in Punjab from October 20-25.

The medal winners are: Taolu (Routine) event: Arhaan Borooah (Gold in Xingyiquan, Traditional Kung fu event), Glory Bharali (Gold in Traditional Bare Hand, Traditional Kung Fu event. Deeksha Tewari (one Silver in Nandao and one Bronze in Nanquan), Gunjan Kalita (One Silver in Jianshu and one Bronze in Qiangshu), Prantika Borah (Bronze in Daoshu), Riki Kharka (Bronze in Nandao), Sneha Borah (one Bronze in Jianshu and one Bronze in Qiangshu), Nihar Baruah Bronze medal in Jianshu, Barsha Diya Bordoloi (Bronze in Baguazhang, Traditional Kung Fu event), Juli Rani Mech (Bronze in Baguazhang Traditional Kung Fu event), Sourav Kumar (Bronze in Traditional Taijiquan, Traditional Kung Fu event). Sanda (Free Fighting) event: Manab Protim Sonowal (Bronze in below 52 kg, Junior Boys), Homraj Lama (Bronze in below 65 kg, Junior Boys), Indro Ghole (Bronze in below 75 kg, Junior Boys), Dwithwn Basumatary (Bronze medal in below 56 kg, Youth Boys), Prativa Taye (Bronze in below 52 kg, Youth Girls).
