Assam Cricket Association Award Function will held at ACA Stadium

GUWAHATI: Newly introduced Annual Award Function, Assam Cricket Association, will be held on Friday evening at ACA Stadium, Barsapara. The annual event will be graced by Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal as Chief Guest and Minister of Finance, Health & Family Welfare, PWD Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma as Guest of Honour.

The players who performed well in the last season will be awarded prize and cash incentives. ACA is introducing three awards, namely Player of the Season Award, Promising Player of the Season Award and Coach of the Season Award and this time these awards will be given to Ranjeet Mali, Dasarath Kumar and Subhrajit Saikia respectively. Level A Coaches Certificates would be presented to the candidates who had successfully undergone the Coaches' Course. Moreover, the event would also witness the 37 inter-district club winners of Assam Premier Club Championship being awarded a cash prize of Rs one lakh each. This is stated in a release.
