Assam Mountaineering Association organised 3-day bicycle expedition

GUWAHATI The Assam Mountaineering Association has organised a 3-day bicycle expedition which got under way today in the city. The seven- member team, under the leadership of Sudip Kumar Deka, was flagged off today from the association's office at Ulubari. The cyclists would paddle through North Guwahati, Mangaldai, Kalaigaon, Udalguri, Rowta to reach Orang National Park and will finish the ride in Guwahati on October 11 after riding nearly 100kms. The other cyclists who are taking part in this expedition are: Manoj Kr Patowary, Dimpul Kakati, Parag Kr Rabha, Chandutpal Gogoi, Subash Ranjan Bora and Pranjal Dutta.
