Assam State Karate Association (ASKA) formed new committee

GUWAHATI: The new office bearers of the Assam State Karate Association (ASKA) was constituted in its Annual General Meeting held in a city hotel here today. Diganta Kalita and Adarsh Choudhury were elected unopposed as president and the secretary of the new body. Nilim Kumar Deka will be the treasurer. The Association planned to start a karate academy soon to provide quality training to the talented players.

The other new office bearers are: Vice President-Champak Deka, Gurujyoti Das, Jyotimoni Moran, Leela Bora, Pulak Patgiri, Ranjan Kumar Kakati, Robin Saikia and Uday Kumar Shah. Joint Secretary: Dhruba Jyoti Deka, Niren Phukan, Rupak Rajbangshi and Sanjay Kumar Shaw. Assistant Secretary: Anjali Basumatary, Kartik Sarkar, Krishnakanta Das, Mrinal Jyoti Nath and Syed Mazharul Islam.
