Assam take lead in Cooch Behar Trophy

GUWAHATI: Assam are on the verge to take first innings lead against Goa in the Cooch Behar Trophy Cricket tie at Nagaon. Elected to bat today Assam were bowled out paltry 149 runs in the first innings.

Shivam Mittal (42) was the top scorer. Later they reduced Goa’s first innings to 114-9 at stumps on day I. Amlanjyoti Das (4-3!) and Hrishikesh Bora (3-40) collected seven wickets between them.
