Assam to face Delhi from Tuesday in their second game of Ranji Trophy Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam will take on Delhi in their second game of Ranji Trophy Championship 2022-23 at the ACA Stadium here from Tuesday.

Assam started their campaign in the tournament with a draw against Saurashtra. While Riyan Parag displayed an all round show in the game batters Sibsankar Roy, Rohan Hazarika along with pacers Mukhtar Hussain and Akash Sengupta also made good contributions.

On the other hand Delhi played their opening game against Maharashtra and lost the tie by 9 wickets and they are now at the bottom of the points table. Apart from Maharashtra, Mumbai are the other team in the elite Group B who won their first game and collected six points.

Meanwhile, the Delhi cricket team already arrived in the city and attended their first training session today.
