Assam win 3 more medals in 37th National Games in Goa

GUWAHATI: Assam added three more medals in their tally in the 37th National Games in Goa on Monday. Among the three medals one is gold and other two are silvers. The gold medal came in the archery where Mukesh Boro emerged champion in the men’s recurve individual event. Archer Jayanta Talukdar and Himani Boro finished second in the mixed team event and collected a silver. The other silver medal came in Judo which was won by Sunil Singh in the 90kg category.

Meanwhile two women boxers of the State Ankushita Boro and Pwilao Basumatary today secured medals by entering semi finals in their respective categories.
