BTAD Army Football League Kicked Off at Kachugaon Football Ground

GOSSAIGAON: BTAD Army Football League kicked off at Kachugaon football ground. The inaugural function was attended by Doneshwar Goyary, Spots minister BTC as Chief Guest. The opening match was played between Kokrajhar Tigers and Gossaingaon Lions and the match ended a goalless draw.

The other teams participating in this Football tournament are from Bijni, Kajalgaon and Parbatjhora sub-divisions and from Udalguri and Baksa districts. This platform gives an opportunity to the youth from the remotest comers of Bodoland Territorial Area Districts to come forth and exhibit their talent to the world. This Football tournament aims to identify and suitably groom talented players directly from the far-flung villages of Bodoland Territorial Area Districts thereby diving into the passion and talent of the youth towards the most widely followed sport in the world. The final match of this tournament will be played on November 24 in Kokrajhar.
