Chess Olympiad Torch Relay reaches Guwahati

Guwahati: The first ever Chess Olympiad Torch Relay reached in Guwahati on Sunday. Industry and Cultural Affairs Minister Bimal Borah received the torch from Grandmaster Mitrabha Guha in a brief function which was held at the Sarusajai Stadium. The function was attended by several top officials of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and All Assam Chess Association. The torch will next travel to Dibrugarh on July 13.
