Dhrupad Kashyap wins in Inter School Chess held in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Dhrupad Kashyap of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School won the Akshayam Independence Day Inter School Chess championship held at Aarohan, Wireless, Guwahati on August 15. This championship was organized by Assam Chess Club. Altogether 82 players from the various school of Guwahati participated in this day-long rapid chess event.

The tournament was conducted by Fide Arbiter Swaraj Buragohain as chief Arbiter and Ravikant Tiwari as assistant Arbiter. Delhi Public School Guwahati got the best school participant award.
