Don Bosco Higher Secondary Schoo Lift Father Arackel Memorial Trophy

JORHAT: Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Baghchung (DBHSS) defeated Army School. Jorhat by three goals in the final of the first Father Arackel Inter-School Football tournament, organized by Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Alumni Association with cooperation with DBHSS, Baghchung at the school playground, Baghchung here today.

Col. Washington from the Jorhat Military Station attended as the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Fr. Regimani, Fr. Felix, Rupjyoti Kurmi, the president of the Alumni Association cum Mariani MLA were also present in the closing ceremony. While Adi Bora of DBHSS was adjudged the best player of the tournament, the best player of the final was awarded to Bibek Bara and the Man of the Tournament award went to Adi Bara.

All together eight schools were in the fray. First Runners Up Trophy bagged by Army Public School while the second Runners up team was Springdale High School.
