Double crown for Jigyashman Hazarika in AITA National Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: Jigyashman Hazarika of Assam lifted the double crown in the U-14 event of the AITA National Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at Karnal today. In the singles, final Jigyashman defeated Debashis Sahoo of Odisha in straight sets 6-1, 6-3. In the doubles, final Jigyashman Hazarika partnering with Manan Nath of Assam defeated Bansh Nandal and Vitin Rathi of Hariyana 6-1, 6-3 to complete the double crown. This is the first National Series title for Jigyashman in a top-ranking tournament of the country.
