GSA celebrates Birth anniversary of RG Baruah

GUWAHATI: Gauhati Sports Association (GSA) celebrated the birth anniversary of 'Singhapurush' Radha Govinda Baruah at its office premises at the RG Baruah Sports complex here today. Baruah, the founder president of GSA, was remembered by the officials of the organization in a brief ceremony. The function was attended by president Pulak Goswami, general secretary Dhrubajyoti Kalita vice president Manjit Bhagawati, treasurer Chaya Ram Boro, joint secretary Khanin Dutta along with several other senior officials. The members of junior team, which will participate in the forthcoming Junior Inter District Football Tournament, were also present in the function and later they received team jerseys for the meet from the GSA officials. Junior Inter District Tournament is scheduled to be held at Tihu.
