Guwahati City FC, 91 Yards Club emerge champion

GUWAHATI: Guwahati City FC and 91 Yards Club lifted titles in the GSA B and C Division Football League that concluded at the Nehru stadium here today. In the B Division final, Guwahati City FC beat Young Amateur Club 4-3 on penalties after the scheduled time ended 1-1 draw, GCFC defender Rahul Kalita gave City FC lead on 11th minute and Young Amateur equalized the goal on 16th minute through Biplab Rabha

In the C Division final, 91 yards Club beat Narengi Royal FC 3-0 Dilangki Dkhar (25'), Sekhar Marapasae (45', & 57') scored in the game.

B Division champions Guwahati City FC received a cash award of Rs 1 lakh and Young Amateur collected Rs 50,000. C Division champions 91 Yards awarded Rs 50000 and Narengi Royal FC were richer by Rs 25000.
