Assam Athletics Association and Guwahati Sports Association will organize a javelin throw competition for different age-group on August 7 to mark the National Javelin Day.

Guwahati: Assam Athletics Association and Guwahati Sports Association will organize a javelin throw competition for different age-group on August 7 to mark the National Javelin Day. One year ago Niraj Chopra won a gold medal in this discipline in the Tokyo Olympics on that day and the event will be organized at the Sarusajai Sports Complex to mark the occasion.
