Gymnast Upasha Talukdar gives Assam first medal in Khelo India

GUWAHATI: Assam gymnast Upasha Talukdar won the first medal for the State on Friday, the inaugural day of the third edition of Khelo India Youth Games in the city. Upasha won the bronze medal with 34.25 points in the All Round Rhythmic Gymnastics (Under 17 for girls) held at Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium in Dispur here.

The gold medal in this event was collected by Asmi Ankush Bada of Maharashtra with 43.80 points. Shreya Pravin Bha, also from Maharashtra, collected silver medal with 40.80 point.
